A year defined by groundwork, building the IT infrastructure, automating core processes, and laying the foundation for what would become a fully-fledged motorsport insurance partner.

While much of the focus was on systems and structure, we were already active in the field, working closely with Renger’s inner circle, friends and family who trusted us from day one.

It was also the year we started to expand beyond the paddock. In partnership with our insurer, we developed the foundation for what would become Variance Insurance—an offering aimed at the high-end market, protecting luxury and leisure assets such as car collections, watches, and art.

Very quickly, a clear pattern emerged: many within motorsport are also collectors, enthusiasts, and entrepreneurs. And they weren’t looking for multiple providers—they were looking for one trusted partner to protect everything that matters.

With a solid foundation in place, 2024 became a year of growth and refinement. We took what we had built and sharpened it. Streamlining services, deepening client relationships, and expanding our presence across circuits in Europe. Premium volume grew significantly, reflecting both market confidence and operational maturity.

The team scaled alongside the business. Two full-time IT developers joined, along with a Head of Operations, bringing the structure needed to support sustainable growth. What started as a lean, agile setup evolved into a fully formed organisation—ready for what comes next.

With marketing joining the team, we focused on building presence and shaping the story. Not just being in the paddock, but being recognised in it.

Momentum carried through from the previous years. We doubled in size once again, welcomed many of the clients we had first engaged with in 2024, and expanded into transport insurance alongside our motorsport core.

By now, Pogona had become a recognised name in racing circles. We were insuring over 100 drivers worldwide, from karting to Formula 1, each trusting us to protect their performance, passion, and progress.

Today, Pogona stands as more than an insurance provider, it’s a community built by racers, for racers. We’ve grown from a small, ambitious idea into a company covering everything from on-track programs to luxury assets, collections, and workshop operations.

Our story is defined by steady growth, real relationships, and a simple belief: insurance should move at the same speed as the world it protects.
